GEURTS ANTIQUES stands for generations of antiquesdealers within the GEURTS family. Jozef Geurts started dealing in antiques in the 1920’s. After World War II the family owned 2 auction houses: “Roepzaal GEURTS” and “Roepzaal BRABO”. Both were located in the historic center of Antwerp.
In the 60’s, his son Valère GEURTS, started import and export of european antiques. Thanks to the location near the Port of Antwerp, his wholesale business quickly grew, with daily container shipments worldwide. His two youngest brothers Laurent and Michel Geurts continued this business for years.
Stéphane Geurts started his own business in the center of Antwerp end of the 90’s, following in his father’s footsteps. Today, he and his father Michel continue the family tradition together and sell antiques worldwide.
Their warehouse and office is located in the heart of Antwerp, where formerly Michel Geurts and his brother Laurent had their business for over 25 years.
